The CBB final! Who do you want to win?

Published Friday, Jan 29 2010, 16:45 GMT | By Alex Fletcher | 1 comment
Does it really have to end?! No amount of tears from us or pleas from Davina appear like they are going to change Channel 4's decision to make this the last Celebrity Big Brother, so make sure you enjoy the final hours of footage tonight. It has arguably been the best ever series of the celeb show and tonight's final promises to provide a thrilling climax. Any one of the five housemates is a potential winner. Here's our guide to the runners and riders.

Vinnie Jones

Vinnie looked like a sure-fire winner after the first week in the house. He had a good amount of dry one-liners and wasn't afraid of getting his hands dirty. But then all of a sudden something happened - Vinnie turned into a berk! Bossy, grumpy, a house dictator and cocky, he gradually morphed into quite an unpleasant chap. He claims to be a man of the people, but can a bloke who buys £400 socks really be our champion?
Where will they finish? A disappointing fourth place finish for the British bulldog.

Dane Bowers

Bowers cut a rather sad figure during the early days in the house. However, his pop-flop tales ("If it hadn't been for Another Level there would never have been Blue") and timid nature have endeared him to viewers, while the departures of Sisqo, Stephen and Lady Sov allowed him to come into his own. With the Tree Of Temptation and chocolate cake tasks, we finally saw the quiet man turning up the volume.
Where will they finish? Bowers could have a repeat of his 'Out Of You Mind' collaboration with Victoria Beckham and just miss out on the top spot. Runner-up!

Stephanie Beacham

The last woman standing, but can she go all the way to the finish line? Beacham has provided plenty of TV gold during her stint in the house - her anecdotes, her dancing with Sisqo and her partnership with Ivana - but she has occasionally let herself down. Her bitchiness has given many viewers flashbacks to her Dynasty days and often she has come across as stubborn, mean and unfair with her views on the younger housemates.
Where will they finish? A respectable and dignified third.

Alex Reid

"There's no way you can have turned around the whole nation in three weeks," Vinnie told Alex during a private chat in the bedroom. It would be an incredible feat for a man attached to Katie Price, but the cage fighter's innocence and ability to take a ribbing has endeared him to many. Once he stopped harping on about "the horrible media" and forgot about promoting brand Katie Price, Reid started to come off like quite the lovable buffoon. His Bible sessions with Stephen Baldwin deserve their own spinoff show too.
Where will they finish? Katie Price's ego may be about to explode - a winner!

Basshunter

With a strong female vote, a rather hefty trouser package and a dirty sense of humour, Basshunter always looked like a strong contender. If it hadn't been for his romance with Kat and all the fart/knob gags, he would be in a stronger position tonight. The super Swede may have settle for an early departure this evening, but he can at least rest assured that he's probably landed a lucrative deal with a lubrication manufacturer (25 times in a single day!).
Where will they finish? First out the door this evening.
