Updated: Celebrity Big Brother The Final poll: Who do you want to win?

What do you get if you lock a load of (slightly) famous people in a house together and throw in fake Japanese chatshows, bodybuilding with Jodie Marsh, shock evictions, Jedward cherubs, boozy jacuzzi sessions and Andrew Stone? One of the best ever series of Celebrity Big Brother... obviously.

We may still be slightly unsure of the ins and outs of the conflicts, (non) romances and ongoing tension between the celebs in the house (damn the lack of live feed!), but what we have seen of this series has been gripping reality TV storytelling at its finest.

Viewers have been treated to an ongoing spat between a Reservoir Dog and a Loose Woman. Kirk Norcross went in the house with a reputation for being a womanising numbskull. He came out of the house with a confirmed reputation as a womanising numbskull.

Meanwhile, the Shannon twins have turned into a two-headed bitching monster, but we're still not sure if we love them or hate them for it.

Frankie Cocozza has proved himself to be the walking version of Nuts magazine ("Phwoar! I just love sex, Shannon twins, me! Phwoar!"), Denise Welch has started to crumble and Nicola McLean has somehow avoided eviction, despite having more sides to her than a dodecahedron.

Every series needs some good guys and Gareth Thomas has filled that void, shining above the Z-list dross and maintaining a few final shreds of their dignity. He would make a well-deserved winner.
