The list of possible housemates is growing every day, but even if just a handful of them are true, we should be in store for a vintage series.
Of course, bagging the guy who played Screech from Saved by the Bell is hardly A-list, but we can't be the only ones intrigued about the possibility of finding out what the hell happened to Dustin Diamond. He famously hit rock bottom after Saved finished, even resorting to releasing his own porn movie.
Other names tipped to be taking part include US trash-bag Courtney Stodden (The new Speidi?), the always-restrained Louie Spence, disgraced football pundit 'Big' Ron Atkinson (well, he's not exactly busy these days) and fresh from his starring role in The Big Reunion, Abz from 5ive.
Pretty much everyone from TOWIE (Sam, Joey, Mario, Chloe) and Geordie Shore (Sophie, Charlotte) has been linked, so you can probably bet your house that at least one of the housemates will be from the land of 'constructed reality TV'.
The long list also features Loose Women's Carol McGiffin (is there a one Loose Women rule for CBB on Channel 5?), '90s one-hit-wonder Mark Morrison and reality TV regular Sophie Anderton.
Following his shock Coronation Street firing, Chris Fountain has inevitably been linked to the series. Digital Spy has heard that some Corrie stars are taking part this year, but we reckon the producers had them lined up long before the recent Phantom scandal.
Celebrity Big Brother launches tonight (August 22) at 9pm on Channel 5.
