Lana Del Rey will sing as a special guest on The Voice UK next Sunday, the BBC has announced.

The 'Video Games' and 'Born To Die' singer is to perform on the BBC One talent contest's first ever results show on April 29.

The Voice's Twitter feed also revealed that Emeli Sande - first announced earlier this month - will perform the following Sunday (May 6).

"To clarify: @LanaDelRey is performing on the results show next Sunday (April 29th) & @emelisande the Sunday after (May 6th). Happy Sundays," said the statement.

Following the blind auditions, the competition now moves on to the Battle Rounds, where the remaining 20 acts will be looking to impress their coaches Sir Tom Jones, will.i.am, Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue.

This weekend, the judges will have Battle Advisors, who include Ana Matronic, Cerys Matthews and Paloma Faith.

The Voice UK airs Saturday and Sunday from 7pm on BBC One.
