The singer, who will be performing 'Dream A Little Dream Of Me' by Mama Cass in tonight's (May 5) show, has become something of a heartthrob.
Asked about female Twitter fans, Josh said: "It's alright. Haha! Oh f**king hell on Twitter it is a bit mad! I've had a few interesting emails from certain individuals. I don't think I should repeat them. But put it this way, they're very interesting.
"I don't let it go to my head though. I like going home and being realistic and normal. I like seeing my parents and just jamming with my music. The sort of music they'd never have on the show. People want to talk about the show all the time, but I like a break from that."
The Team Danny contestant also spoke about how he likes to spend his spare time on the show, saying: "I don't mind the make-up and wardrobe. They're all lovely women. I go in there sometimes and have a chat with them. I like that."
Josh also said that he does not want to perform with backing dancers on the programme, a sentiment shared by Max Milner and Bo Bruce. He commented: "I have a thing where I won't sing with dancers. If they give me them, they give me them.
"But I don't want them. I just want to sing. The meaning is the thing for me. I don't need to make it any more lively."
The Voice UK continues its Live Rounds tonight at 7.10pm on BBC One, with the results show airing tomorrow (Sunday, May 6) at 7.15pm.
