Bruce topped the ranking from Yahoo!, accounting for 41% of searches for the eight semi-finalists over the course of the series.

Her nearest competitor was Jaz Ellington, who was the subject of only half as many searches on 21%.

Yahoo! search data correctly predicted that the girl-and-dog team of Ashleigh & Pudsey would win this month's Britain's Got Talent final.
Earlier this week it was confirmed that all eight semi-finalists will join the Voice UK live tour in September.
