The Black Eyed Peas singer said that he "really enjoyed [his] time on the show" and has already recorded with contestants Tyler James, Jaz Ellington and Jay Norton.
He added: "The annoying thing for me is people go on these shows but it takes forever for their albums to come out. I wanted to do The Voice because I want to speed up the process.

The Voice screened the final of its first series last night, during which the Tom Jones-mentored Leanne Mitchell win the top prize of £100,000 and a record contract.
Ratings for the show have sharply declined over the course of the series after a strong start, prompting rumours that all of the judges will be axed for the next series.
However, BBC One controller Danny Cohen has claimed he would like to see all four judges back for the 2012/13 run.
