The talent show's presenter revealed that filming was about to begin on the show's Battle Rounds and that it was a case of "so far, so good" with the second series.
Watch Holly Willoughby talking about The Voice series two:
"I can't tell you too much because Tom Jones would probably kill me," said Willoughby. "But it's been brilliant.
"The moment where the chairs turn around, and it's someone who is amazing and not what people are expecting, is always a lovely element of the show."
The Celebrity Juice star was also reluctant to criticise last year's talent, despite their mixed chart success since the first series ended.
"I thought the standard of singing on last year's show was really good," she said.
"You look at what's come out of the show and Tyler [James] has got his single in the chart at the moment and he's doing really well. Bo [Bruce] is about to release her first album. It's a pretty good standard that they've set so far."
Tom Jones, Jessie J, Danny O'Donoghue and will.i.am will all return as coaches for the show's second series, which airs in the spring on BBC One.
Willoughby and Phillip Schofield picked up the National TV Award for best 'Daytime' for This Morning yesterday. It was the third year in a row that the show has picked up the gong.
