"I'd absolutely love to do The Voice," she said. "I really enjoyed being a judge on Superstar and television is exciting and a new thing for me."

She added: "It was a pretty steep learning curve".

Jessie J and Danny O'Donoghue have both confirmed their departure from the BBC One series after two years.

Co-host Holly Willoughby recently spoke of her hopes of having another female judge, saying: "For the sake of the panel, it needs to be, otherwise it would be the wrong balance."

Olly Murs has revealed that he would be interested in joining the show, but added that label boss Simon Cowell may not allow it.
