Chantelle cries over John's Preston jokes

John accidentally managed to upset Chantelle earlier after he joked about Big Brother getting her and Preston back together.

Having already warned Josie away from possible boyfriend John James, he began talking about Preston and Chantelle's past relationship, as the pair sat right beside him.

He joked: "How are we going to recreate that fantastic night?" referring to a romantic evening the ex-partners once shared.

Makosi pointed out: "Preston's girlfriend might be watching." John said: "Oh, she can be disposed of."

He continued: "Bringing you two together could be the final triumph for Big Brother."

Upset, Chantelle went to the bathroom in tears, followed by Josie and Preston. Chantelle said: "I just got upset then, I just don't wanna talk about it." Preston hugged his ex-wife, saying: "Shall we ask people to stop talking about it?"

Not realising that Chantelle was crying, John joined the pair in the bathroom, saying: "I was joking, I won't mention it again, I really am sorry." Chantelle insisted that it wasn't his fault.

When the pair rejoined the others at the sofas, Chantelle said: "It wasn't any one [that upset her]. It is just emotional, I was just thinking about four years ago." John reiterated: "I was wrong and I was joking about emotions I know nothing about."
