After performing instructions set by Big Brother, the journalist was surprised to see his former Big Brother 1 housemate Darren enter the house, unaware that he had been asked to find the papers to recreate the famous events of the first series.
"Do you remember what [Nick] did ten years ago?" Darren said to Brian soon after entering.
"He's nice, he's 'Nice Nick'," Brian replied. "Unless he's been conspiring against us... Is that why you're in here? What have you done?" he added to Nick.
As Darren paced around the house looking for the hidden papers, housemates soon became suspicious of Nick's actions - especially when Darren found the first paper in front of them.
However, Big Brother asked the group to sit around the dining table and revealed what had been happening.
"I said to Ulrika before - the reason I didn't want to go on Big Brother, there would be some stitch-up and there was," Nick said afterwards. "Nikki's task was fun, I get a horrible one."
Ulrika reassured him that she would feel the same, as when she had been down she often felt people were "against" her.
"When I went into the house you know what was on the VT? Anthony going at it, I cried about it," Makosi empathised. "We know you're (Nick) a nice guy, we know you're such a fantastic guy."
"That's very sweet," Nick replied.
Nikki pointed out that after her 'Who Is She?' challenge yesterday, the housemates would all probably be receiving a task relating to their infamous moments on Big Brother.
"I hope I don't end up in a Jacuzzi doing something for my task," Makosi joked.
Later, Brian reminded Nick that viewers would see he was "100% innocent" in today's events and therefore not judge him.
