Makosi, Nikki miss phones and festivals

Makosi admitted that she is struggling without her mobile phone as she chatted with Nikki this evening.

"I can hear the music [in the task room]," said Makosi, referring to the tunes that Brian and Nick were being treated to as part of their surprise disco.

"I don't miss music though. I miss my phone," she added.

Nikki replied: "I'm glad to be away from my phone. It's on its last legs anyway, it's being held together with masking tape. So I don't really miss it." She admitted that she "can't work technology", which is why she hasn't yet replaced it with a new handset.

Later on, though, the series 7 star revealed what she was missing on the outside world. "I hate my friends for going to Reading [Festival] without me," she told Brian, as she applied her mascara before dinner. "Well, I don't hate them. I'm jealous."

However, Brian was quick to remind her of how lucky she was to be in the house, replying: "Think how jealous they are of you! Let's not dwell."
