Earlier, Brian had worked out that tonight would be the group's seventh night in the house - leading Ulrika to comment that she had only expected to be in the house a week and hoped nominations would occur today.
Soon afterwards, Big Brother announced: "Nominations will begin shortly. Victor and Michelle are immune from this week's nomination and therefore will not be eligible to vote."
"It's almost worth having someone really hateful and annoying in the house for this purpose," Preston said, after hearing the news.
Ulrika agreed with him and commented that while Coolio would have taken a lot of the housemates' votes, the group were now left with nominating their "friends".
"You have to come out with personal comments... They always say, 'Can you elaborate your reasons?'" she added.
Hearing their worries, Victor advised them on the best course of action.
"You can just say why you don’t get on with them, it doesn’t have to be anything personal. If that person gets out they’ll just have to deal with it really," he said.
"It can go either way, even on my one I was known for being ruthless and blunt and it's not something that really affected me. I just said to Big Brother, 'I don’t like this person 'cause of XYZ and I don’t get on with them,' and I went out to cheers."
Victor added that last time he was in the series his group looked forward to nominations as it gave them something to do, and the best method was to simply go in and "have as much fun as possible".
"If I saw Brian saying something about me I wouldn’t care 'cause I know I'd just laugh," agreed Ulrika.
