The latest news and snippets from the house...
- Ulrika told Preston about how much Nick was suffering during yesterday's singing task. "I don't think he has a musical part of his brain," she told him. "It was like asking the shyest kid in school to go on stage and perform with the least shy kid. I told him that it would be good for him. I didn't say, 'It will help you come out of your shell,' but you know what I mean."
- Ulrika said that her 6-year-old daughter was a "ferocious" reader - unlike her oldest son. She recalled how her daughter told her one evening: "Mummy, tonight I am going to read the dictionary." Preston duly notes: "Reading's cool again though, isn't it?"
- Chantelle revealed that she is excited about getting a task later today, but Nikki was less sure. "I'm more scared," she admitted. "They're going to want us to scream." Meanwhile, Ulrika admitted that even though she has already completed her 'Endless Love' duet, she is still on standby in case she has to take part in another challenge.
- Makosi revealed that she had a "really nice" dream in which she received supportive messages from home. Speaking to Michelle, she explained that the dream has made her feel happier about leaving the house. However, when Michelle pointed out that she might have another eight days on the show, Makosi admitted that it will be difficult. She added that holding her mobile phone has made it even harder. "I said to myself, 'I can't cry, I've cried enough today'," she revealed. "It's like I've got an extra tank of tears."
- Some of the housemates chatted about which animals they would be. Brian wanted to be something "majestic" like a peacock or a stallion, but was unimpressed when some people suggested that he could be a Shetland pony. Nikki was compared to a chihuahua, Victor was described as a bear, Michelle was named as a meerkat and Chantelle was linked to a swan. However, Nick appeared unhappy when Nikki described him as a "weasel". "That's the best comment of the day," Victor laughed. "Look at his face - he's like a boxer who's been caught in the ribs."
