Housemates set 'silent' task

Big Brother has announced that housemates will be set a series of individual challenges, in which they must remain silent at all times.

After calling the housemates to the sofas, Brian read out the task details. He read: "Big Brother has a housemate-induced headache of epic proportions. Headaches must try to remain silent while facing a variety of uncomfortable challenges."

The task details read that each housemate will be called to the large task room throughout the day, where they will need to remain silent. Each housemate who successfully remains silent will be "invited to a very loud party" this evening. Any housemate who isn't silent will not be invited.

The housemates began speculating what their challenges might be. Ideas included tasks based around their various phobias and the electric shock chair.

Soon after, the housemates were provided with individual costumes for the day. These included Chantelle's Pocahontas-style headdress and Brian's farmer's outfit.

Victor laughed when he discovered his costume, saying: "I'm a pimp!" However, Nikki did not appear happy with her outfit, as she looked miserable and upset at the dinner table.
