All the latest news and snippets from the house...
  • Vanessa recounted to the housemates how she felt during her last experience on Big Brother. "By the time I got in I was already a gibbering wreck," she said. "I could see my children in the distance and they already looked like they were wasting away. And they, in those days, had barbed wire and huge dogs." Vanessa then described how she lasted three nights and four days and by the end of it, had practically forgotten her own name.

  • Preston found himself caught on the inflatable bride in the kitchen as he walked past it this morning, leading 'her' to follow him around the room. "Marry me!" Victor joked, voicing the figure. "It's so quick, I'm not ready," Preston laughed, as he tried to push the inflatable away. "Domestic violence - pull yourself together," Brian said while watching him, before Preston ended up bursting the bride altogether.

  • Ulrika asked Victor if he was the same person as when he entered the house for Big Brother 5 six years ago. "Fundamentally, but I'm a bit more aware of my actions, I've been the same person since I was 14," he replied. After repeating the question to Ulrika, she described: "I've changed how I was in here. I kept to myself, it was a very male-dominated house, you know when there's no point having a conversation with somebody?"

  • Vanessa described to the other housemates this afternoon how she was involved in the pilot episode of Hole In The Wall. "Can I make myself into the shape of a giraffe and leap into the air? I'm a small, fat person and I got thrown into the water every time," she recounted. Explaining the horror of the experience, as it was filmed in an icy cold aircraft hanger in Denmark, Vanessa stated that she was surprised that the show was later commissioned. "I did two in England and one in Denmark, I never got the hang of it," she added.

  • Joking how he thought that Brian's tasks always seemed to be easier than his, Victor speculated what his part of the 'Enjoy The Silence' task could be after Brian was asked to search for a needle in nettles. "For Victor's task, he must solve the mystery of where Lord Lucan is for the past three years," he joked, mimicking Big Brother. Another possibility he considered was: "For Victor's task, he must find definitive proof of the existence of Jesus in two minutes."

  • During the 'Enjoy The Silence' tasks, Michelle suddenly became very upset, and went to the bedroom crying. She could be heard saying to Ulrika, "I'm really worried", before the cameras turned away. Michelle remained upset for the rest of the afternoon, spending a long time on her own in the bedroom and visiting Big Brother in the Diary Room.

  • Brian spoke about wanting to be engaged, and about his last serious relationship that ended in 2006. He said: "I was quite broken [after they broke up], and I went through a dark thing. I was being a horrible person to be around, I was annoying to all my friends. I've come out the other end." When Vanessa asked what type of man he was looking for, Brian replied: "Someone who makes me laugh, someone who can take care of me, who can look out for my best interests no matter what. It's hard to find."
