Admitting that he was feeling nervous about what may have been shown or reported, the BB2 winner confessed that he was concerned with how he may react upon being reunited with his other half.
"I've played it over in my mind and if it's awkward I'll be like, ‘You can't come back with me tonight’," Brian said, acknowledging how bad that would sound.
"I do see a future [with him] but I hope in my mind I'm not just saying that because he ticks every box, but I would never just settle.
"When I see him I’ll probably cry or laugh, but in a good way. I'll probably cry."
Brian also revealed that his partner had said "I love you" before he left for Ultimate Big Brother.
"You didn't say it back, did you?" Chantelle asked.
"I couldn't," was the regretful reply. "But when I'm not with him I do miss him."
However, Brian explained that he had never revealed this to his lover out of fear that he would use it against him, a thought process that he claimed stemmed back to a bad break-up four years ago.
"I contemplated, 'What's the point [of living] if he’s not around?'. You go to the dark place. There is not another break up like that left in me, I will not do it," he said.
The girls sympathised with the Irish housemate, as did a passing Ulrika, who recalled that after one particularly difficult separation "I'd go to bed and hope I never wake up in the morning".
