Lucas: I'd pay to do it again

Funnyman Matt Lucas, who kicked off the series as the first celebrity hijacker, has said he would happily take up the role again.

When asked whether he would become Big Brother again he said: "Would I do it again? Yes, in fact I'd most probably pay you!"

He praised the housemates and admitted that they are easier to like than the usual breed of contestant.

He said: "I think this group are a lot warmer and more likeable than the usual housemates. It might be because they are younger and because most of them genuinely do seem to have a talent."

And he added that he became fond of the group during his time as Big Brother. He explained:"The weird thing is you become oddly attached to the housemates in a way that takes you by surprise which is strange, if something upsets them then you feel upset and if they're happy then you feel happy."
