The R&B singer hoped that appearing on the E4 programme would help to raise his profile, but public and press interest in the housemates was not as high as expected.
"I think it was better for me as an artist because it wasn't too overexposed," Nathan told Hot TV magazine. "Other Big Brother contestants come across as really media hungry, but this was more low-key and credible."
Asked about his relationship with Sugababes singer Keisha Buchanan, who hijacked the house with her bandmates in the final week, Nathan replied: "We went out on a couple of dates a while ago, but it didn't work out. It was never serious - she's with someone else now."
