Pound Shop Wars opened with 4.47m (19.8%) and led the 8pm hour for BBC One, above the 4.11m (18.2%) tuned in to All Star Mr & Mrs for ITV1 (+1: 276k), while MasterChef: The Professionals had 2.4m (10.7%) for BBC Two.
Overall, ITV1 dominated primetime with 20.8% (+1: 1.1%), beating BBC One's 17.8%, BBC Two's 6.6%, Channel 4's 6% (+1: 1.1%), and Channel 5's 3.5% (+1: 0.2%).
A Best & Worst of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, in the lead-up to the show's new run, appealed to 445k (2.8%) on ITV2 at 10pm.
