"Our customers have always had a strong connection with JJ Abrams's event series, and we're confident that Revolution will prove to be a monster hit with them following its record-breaking debut in the US."
The first ten episodes of Revolution have already aired in the US, and the show is on a four-month hiatus before returning to NBC in March.
Co-creator Kripke has said he hopes the hiatus "won't lose the show viewers", while NBC chief Robert Greenblatt has conceded that the break may result in a ratings drop for the network.
Revolution will air on Sky1 and Sky1 HD in 2013.
