TV presenter and former Dancing on Ice runner-up Laura Hamilton will now replace Palmer-Tomkinson in the lineup.

A Channel 4 spokesperson told Digital Spy: "After this week's training Tara has decided the show isn't for her.

"Laura Hamilton has replaced her and has been in Austria training with the rest of the contestants."

Last month, the Palmer-Tomkinson revealed that she felt under pressure due to being named as a potential winner of the ski-jump series.

She said: "I feel like I'm under a lot of pressure. I'm not very comfortable with being the favourite. I'm really not."

TOWIE star Amy Childs, Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave and 1980s singer Sinitta are also among the stars taking part on the show.

Davina McCall and Alex Brooker will host the series, which launches on Channel 4 later this month for ten nights.
