S01E03

Tom awakens in a trashed hotel room to find a message scrawled on the wall in blood - "When you sleep, I will eat your children". Benjamin's organisation have him under phone surveillance and plan to capture him that very night, being aware that he is paying a visit to the house of his former boss Peter.

Peter tries to drug Tom, who then becomes fearful that Hyde will emerge and subsequently takes Peter to the basement and makes him swallow the key. His wife Claire appears and witnesses the transformation. She then knocks out her husband's alter ego when he goes to attack Peter after learning that he has the key inside him. Peter later admits his involvement in the project to capture him and that there is a cure for his condition.

Benjamin's team storms into the basement, but the ambitious man is killed by Hyde, who has taken a shine to Claire. Tom then wakes up, dazed, in the garden the next morning and sees a body bag being taken out of the house. He assumes that it's his wife and confesses to her murder to police, who are baffled. However, it emerges that the police are in fact Benjamin's team and Tom is swiftly captured and plonked into a metal casket to be taken to their headquarters...
