The BBC has acquired a new Australian soap for its daytime schedules.
All Saints is being lined up for a weekday mid-afternoon slot. The soap, which is set in a hospital ward of the All Saints Hospital in Sydney, was the top rated Australian-made drama in the country last year.
BBC head of series Sue Deeks said the show had "engaging" characters, "compelling" storylines and "superb" production values.
Deeks added: "We are delighted that BBC viewers are finally going to have the opportunity to see this multi-award winning series."
The programme is due to air weekdays from mid-July.
