'Sarah Jane' writer hails "best" Sontaran

"Commander Kaagh is the last survivor of the task force that attacked Earth in 'The Sontaran Stratagem'... [and] we haven't seen a Sontaran like this before," he told Doctor Who Magazine. "He's got a few tricks up his sleeve and he was just fantastic to write for."
"Personally I think he's the best Sontaran that we've ever seen in the Doctor Who world," Ford added, before describing Kaagh actor Anthony O'Donnell's performance as "fantastic... he is an amazing Sontaran".
