The episode, titled 'The Gift: Part Two', averaged 788k (6.4%) at 4.35pm, while the first part, which aired on Thursday afternoon at the same time, drew 822k (6.5%).
Meanwhile, the first part of BBC One's Children In Need telethon was seen by an average of 9.79m (39.5%) between 7pm and 10pm, before 4.22m (44.9%) returned for the final instalment from 10.45pm.
Over on ITV1, the latest edition of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! pulled in 7.03m (27.1%), the jungle reality show's lowest numbers of the series.
BBC Two's Mastermind attracted 1.87m (7.7%) in the half hour from 8pm, before Autumnwatch 2009 delivered 1.92m (7.4%). Beautiful People then put in 568k (2.2%).
Channel 4's repeat of The Queen in 3D managed 375k (1.5%), while another instalment an hour later had 274k (1.1%). Then, Friday The 13th Part III took 446k (2.5%).
Five's Axe Men logged 622k (2.5%) from 8pm, before NCIS drew 989k (3.8%) and Law & Order: SVU managed 878k (4.1%). A rerun of Monday's FlashForward had 360k (2.6%).
Overall, BBC One dominated primetime with an average share of 39.3% to ITV1's 22.7%. BBC Two was third with 6.2%, followed by Five with 2.8% and Channel 4's 2.1% (+1: 0.2%).
I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here Now! was the most-watched multichannel programme of the day, with 731k (3.7%) from 10pm to 11pm.
