A much-improved episode awaits Ashes To Ashes fans. Here are a few hints about what lies in store, with one red herring fake spoiler amongst the following clues:

Figuring out what 'RWF' stands for is key to solving a murder.

Chris and Shaz are both Kim Wilde fans.

Ray drunkenly lunges to kiss Alex but she knocks him out with a swift punch.

Alex finds that her mother has been hiding something from her husband.

As a child, Alex had an Adam and The Ants poster in her bedroom, plus 'Green Door' by Shakin' Stevens on her cassette player.

Classic tracks featured in the episode include Human League's 'Love Action' and Duran Duran's 'Girls On Film'.

Alex strips off in front of Gene.

Ray and Chris try out some surveillance techniques, much to the annoyance of Gene.
