Prison Break: Was the ending right?

Last week, we asked you whether you thought Joss Whedon's Dollhouse was worth the wait.
It turns out that most of you have already seen the entire series, and you've given some mixed responses to the Buffy maestro's latest project.
Of those of you who have been tuning in, the overwhelming majority (64.6%) are loving Whedon's work - while 7.3% of you declared that you can't stand the show and/or Eliza Dushku. Oh, and 28.1% of you were a bit indifferent to the series, holding firm with your allegiance to Buffy and Angel.
This week, we thought we'd have one last say on Prison Break by discussing the last ever episodes/mini-movie, The Final Break. What did you make of the gang's final adventure?
We were treated to a quick wedding between Scofield and Sara, some more prison action courtesy of the locked up ladies, the return of the glorious Gretchen, some double-crossing from T-Bag and the General, and discovered the truth about how Michael met his maker.
But what did you make of The Final Break? Did it remind you of season one? Are you sad to see the end of the show? Should Michael have sacrificed himself for Sara? Cast your vote below, and add your comments in the usual place!

am a huge huge huge fan of prison break...n was in absalute tears fruout the last episode!!!!! it was the sadest death on telly EVER!!! am a huge of of michael n altho it was very hard 4 me to watch him die..very heartbreakin.....but i do believe the riters made the right choice...of corse i wud hav loved a happy endin with mike n sara havin a happy ever after...but it was a verry fittin end...how he sacrificed himself 4 his love n kid...that just sumerises the hole point ov prison break...how he sacrifises himself..like he did in season 1.....but readin an interview wentworth miller did...i can understand wot he ment by..'michaels hand r just as dirty as any1's..how many ppl have died just so his brover can live' n its tru..michael wudnt have bin able to live wiv himself....it was in season 3 that he was asked by whistler weather he wud have tried to escape...if he didnt have to...n the answer was no!!! coz michael always new he wud hav to b punished. going back to him dying...as harsh as it seems in a way its juat a lil less heatbreakin...dont get me rong it was very sad..i was in tears!!! but its a lil less sad nowin that mike decided to take his own life instead ov it takin him...plus i cudnt c any other way he cud hav died..... oh n the hole video at the end.:( :( :( it was just tooo sad but very fittin!!!! prison break is n will always b the best show on telly!!!! it will b missed..

I am a huge michael scofield fan and I really don't wanna see him dead ! Its not unusual for a dead character to come back to life in the show , in fact we've seen two in the past ... I think that PB is a great show and I also think that the writer made the ending that way so that they could bring back the shown ,should they decide to do so ... We didn't get to see michael's dead body which leads me to think there isn't one .. Michael is a genius ... He must have found a way to stay alive , maybe he thought that he was going to die of electrocution but from what I saw ,the cables were insulated ... ! They didn't show him dead and they ended the "final break" with sara and lincoln watchin michaels video which hadn't ended yet ... I think he was still about to say something ... Maybe what he was about to say next had something to do with him still being alive and maybe he is telling them his plans to meet them , His location and what he thinks they need to do to save him and remove the tumor so that he can live ... Maybe he was telling linc to take care of sara and sara to take care of linc only till he comes back ... We never know what's gonna happen right ?! I mean it's possible ! I think that the writers are doing this to see if we want the show back, they're pretending that it's over to see if we're gonna fight to get it back ! The "ending" is too unfinished for the show to be over... Gretchen indirectly told sara to watch over emily ang give her the birthday present , but we never saw emily again ... Michael is a genius , I'm sure that he had another exit strategy out of that place after getting the door opened for sara ... Or maybe the FBI caught him and made him work for them because he is a genius , he has outsmarted them many times and having him on their side would be of great help for catching criminals and what not ... Or maybe michael knew something or had something that would be valuable to the FBI and so he made sure he had a way of convincing them not to kill him and cure his brain tumor ... U know as leverage ... :-) I really think that the show still has potential ... If they could bring it back it would be totally awesome ... It would be so exciting and I think that season 5 or a continuation would have more viewers than the debut of the first season ... For those of you who want the show to continue please email fox at :askfox@fox.com And tell them how you feel about the ending ... We have to make them bring back the show ! Now , who's with me ?!

The acting between SWC and Wentworth was HORRENDOUS! What couple who are newly married would leave each other so quickly knowing that Mike was going to kill himself, it was like "Oh? Okay then bye!", and the final kiss lacked any sense of ............ desperation? grief? Both actors sucked, and that scene was stupid! Other than that, i liked this episode! LOL! Tensed and moved along well, loved it! Nice way to end this show!

I am actually realy, really upset that Prison Break is no more, I just wanted it to keep going! Season 3/4 has had alot of stick but I disagree, it was as good as the rest! The Final Break was amazing aswell, and the ending was great but I didn't realise that the episode would end like that, the credits just appeared on screen when I least expected! I thought there would have been a montage or somethine!

They deserved that happy ending, not the ending that happenned it was too cruel and to leave a newly married widow and as a single parent without any family added insult to injury, the writers should have gone with the happy ending not a sacrifice as the whole meaning of the four seasons was wiped out with a ridiculous ending we wasted four years for that hope and faith and promises. Sadistic cruel heartless writers. I am not a happy viewer, I wasted my investment of time into this for what? a frazzle..Bizarre beyond belief.

I watched The Final Break and thought it was brilliant....one of the best things they've done. Really sad but really well made. It certainly made up for the awful season 4.

I was really sad to see my favorite actor (Wentworth Miller) being written out of my favorite series. He should have stayed with sarah and his child.

Would have been nice with a happy ending, but i'm just glad it actually got an ending. So many shows get cancelled and finish on cliff hangers. Sad, but wonderful ending of a super TV show. Will miss it.
