Morgan: 'Merlin' role is daunting
Published Wednesday, Sep 24 2008, 14:48 BST | By Ben Rawson-Jones

"It's definitely daunting," Morgan told the Radio Times, "but I'm having such a blast making the show that it takes the edge off the nerves... if it continues I'd love to do more, but I'm seeing how it goes."
Morgan also explained his atypical portrayal of Merlin, which differs from previous interpretations of the character. "This is a completely different take," he said. "At this point in his life, he's a regular boy. He just happens to have magical gifts.
"The stories explore Merlin as a young man, making mistakes - and how he became this great sorcerer."
