'Merlin' preview: Who's that boy?

Here's a sneaky peek at tonight's rather fabulous episode of Merlin, in which loyalties are tested when a young druid boy arrives in Camelot. Click 'play' below to watch:
Unfortunately The Sunday Times has already spoiled the identity of the young boy in question, but you might want to engage in a spot of extra reading after the episode has aired to really appreciate his significance.

I knew I recognised the young man in question, but had to check his name in the credits and double check on IMDB before I knew for certain. He starred in the movie The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas, which if you haven't seen it is very good.

I love the way that this show is totally screwing with the mythology behind Arthur, Merlin et al. This character is (depending on the myth) either Arthur's son by his sister, or his nephew...I am starting to think that people need to read some Malory!

The Arthurian mythology's been messed about with so much before this show, anyway, so does it really matter?
