'Survivors' taught Joseph survival skills

The actor told the Daily Record: "I started to learn how to tie knots, make a fire, build a shelter, purify water, that kind of thing. And since then I've made a rope ladder for my son, who's five, and some hammocky things in our garden which he just loves playing with."
Joseph, reportedly in the running to replace David Tennant in Doctor Who, added: "I'm pretty sure most of our dads knew all this stuff - but our generation has forgotten a lot of it. But it's the kind of stuff that comes second nature to Greg."
