BBC commissions more 'Survivors'
The BBC has reportedly commissioned a second season of science-fiction drama Survivors.

The remake of Terry Nation's 1970s show, which has garnered moderately impressive ratings and mixed reviews, will receive another six episode run, according to The Guardian. The decision was made ahead of the screening of the first season finale, which airs this Tuesday, December 23 on BBC One.

A BBC spokeswoman told the publication that the regular cast members will return, including Julie Graham and Max Beesley, with "further casting to be announced next year".

In addition, Adrian Hodges has been confirmed to return as Survivors' executive producer.
