'FlashForward' holds strong audience

The 9pm episode - titled '137 Sekunden' - in which Mark and Janis travelled to Germany to speak to an imprisoned Nazi about the blackouts, pulled in 3.19m (12.9%). Previously, the first and second episodes of the US drama interested 3.19m (13.2%) and 3.26m (13.9%) respectively.
Earlier on Five, The Gadget Show logged 1.51m (6.2%) during the 8pm hour.
Over on BBC One, the 8.30pm Panorama, which focused on budget airline Ryanair, put in 3.84m (15.7%), then 6.49m (26.4%) tuned in for Life, a documentary charting the survival of animals, during the 9pm hour.
University Challenge managed 3.53m (14.8%) for BBC Two at 8pm, then the audience dropped to 2.96m (12%) during MasterChef: The Professionals between 8.30pm and 9.15pm.
The half-hour Why Did My Son Die? Tonight grabbed 2.69m (11.3%) for ITV1 between 8pm and 8.30pm. After Coronation Street, 4.85m (19.7%) watched Blue Murder at 9pm.
The Enemy Within and Daredevils took 430k (1.8%) and 930k (3.8%) at 8pm and 9pm respectively for Channel 4, then the latest episode of Ugly Betty drew 860k (5.1%) during the 10pm hour.
Overall, BBC One just beat ITV1 with an average share of 24.3% to 24.2%. BBC Two was third with 7.9%, followed by Five's 6.4%, and Channel 4 with 3.3% (+1: 0.7%).
