'FlashForward' makes poor UK return

The first episodes of 2010, which aired at 9pm and 10pm, pulled in 1.98m (7.8%) and 1.48m (8.5%) for Five. The latter represents a series low for the show.

Earlier on Five, The Gadget Show took 1.44m (5.5%).
Over on BBC One, MasterChef logged 4.48m (17%) between 8.30pm and 9pm, then New Tricks had 4.34m (17.1%) during the 9pm hour.
University Challenge and Raymond Blanc: Kitchen Secrets managed 3.1m (11.9%) and 1.64m (6.2%) for BBC Two during the 8pm hour, then 1.55m (6.1%) watched Band For Britain at 9pm.
The Lakes attracted 4.26m (16.4%) to ITV1 between 8pm and 8.30pm, then Married, Single, Other interested 4.02m (15.9%) at 9pm.
Dispatches and Secret Millionaire drew 850k (3.3%) and 2.43m (9.6%) for Channel 4 at 9pm and 9pm respectively.
Overall, ITV1 came top during primetime with an average share of 23.5% to BBC One's 20.9%. BBC Two was third with 6.8%, followed by Channel 4 with 5.2% (+1: 0.8%) and Five's 5.8%.
Over on the multichannel stations, the latest episode of Glee claimed 1.15m (4.5%) for E4.
