First Take: Five's 'FlashForward'

We've been banging on about FlashForward - the most promising proposition to emerge from the '09 pilot season - for quite a while now, and the series has now finally premiered on the small screen. It's no secret that we're big fans of the show, but what did you make of the opening episode?

For those who haven't seen it yet, we'll keep the spoilers light, but a brief recap is as follows: almost the whole world blacked out for precisely two minutes and seventeen seconds, leading to mass chaos, confusion... and death. If that wasn't bad enough, people also witnessed flash forwards during the blackout. These future visions - all taking place six months in the future - ranged from an unexpected pregnancy to a marriage breakdown. Did you buy into it? Do you see big things in store for the series?
