Let's 'FlashForward' to episode five...

Things have been far from rosy chez Benford since the blackout occurred. Olivia's somewhat in denial over her supposed future with the mysterious Lloyd Simcoe, and Mark's not helping matters by concealing his true flash forward, which showed him turning back to the bottle.

In episode five, aptly titled 'Gimme Some Truth', Olivia turns to Aaron for answers over Mark's impending return to alcoholism, Mark's vision is scrutinised, and things get a little more serious when the President makes a speech addressing recent events. But the big question is: will Dominic Monaghan's Simon make an appearance? Click 'play' below to watch some previews:

FlashForward continues tonight at 8pm on ABC in the US and Monday at 9pm on Five in the UK.

I'm getting bored with it now. I was hoping it would be as gripping as Lost but have been disappointed.

I gave up after ep 3. Sorry, but it's rubbish. Feel completley let down, as was really looking forward to this. May poke my head in briefly next week to see Dom Mon tho.

It's an excellent series that keeps getting better and better the first poster is wrong as it is about the flash-backs with complex characters

Answer: no. I stopped caring about these one-dimensional characters a long time ago. I have also come to the conclusion that the series is not really about the flashforward, it's really just a soap-opera that uses it as it's raison-d'etre. If you took the even of the fllashforward out of the programme entirely, it would carry on with all the inter-personal crises and conflicts just like any other drame. It doesn't engage me, it doesn't have any S-F qualities and doesn't seem to have a goal that it's heading towards. From an interesting first half-episode it's become completely missable.
