'Glee' dominates multichannel ratings

Glee continued to dominate the multichannel ratings last night, early viewing figures show.

The sixth episode of the musical comedy, which saw Terri push pills on the glee club, drew 1.09m (4.2%) and was once again the most-watched programme on the multichannel stations.

Elsewhere, Hustle bowed out to 5.57m (21.6%) for BBC One at 9pm. Earlier, at 8.30pm, Panorama pulled in 2.81m (10.6%).

University Challenge and Delia Through The Decades logged 3.08m (11.6%) and 2.91m (10.9%) for BBC Two during the 8pm hour, then 1.13m (4.4%) watched Generation Jihad at 9pm.

ITV1's The Lakes interested 4m between 8pm and 8.30pm, and the penultimate episode of Law & Order: UK grabbed 5.54m (21.4%) during the 9pm hour.

Dispatches: Post Office Undercover managed 1.51m (5.6) for Channel 4 at 8pm, then the audience climbed to 1.72m (6.7%) during the 9pm screening of Tower Block of Commons.

The Gadget Show and Paul Merton in Europe averaged 1.5m (5.7%) and 1.57m (6.1%) for Five at 8pm and 9pm respectively.

Overall, ITV1 came top during primetime with an average share of 25.1% to BBC One's 22.4%. BBC Two was third with 6.5%, followed by Channel 4 with 5% (+1: 0.5%) and Five's 5.1%.
