'Sectionals' gives 'Glee' new series high

The latest instalment, titled 'Sectionals', pulled in an impressive 1.47m (5.8%) for E4 during the 9pm hour, making it the most-watched programme on the multichannel stations.
Elsewhere, Panorama grabbed 2.65m (10.5%) for BBC One between 8.30pm and 9pm, then 4m (15.8%) tuned in for Crimewatch during the 9pm hour.
University Challenge and Raymond Blanc: Kitchen Secrets took 2.93m (11.5%) and 2.13m (8.5%) for BBC Two during the 8pm hour, then Blood and Oil drew 2.27m (9.3%) between 9pm and 10.15pm.
ITV1's half-hour Countrywise logged 3.75m (14.7%) from 8pm, then Married, Single, Other bowed out to 3.95m (15.6%) during the 9pm hour.
Ask The Chancellors put in 1.67m (6.6%) for Channel 4 at 8pm, then the audience climbed to 2.23m (9.5%) during The Secret Millionaire, which aired between 9pm and 10.30pm.
The Gadget Show and FlashForward interested 1.1m (4.4%) and 1.47m (5.8%) for Five at 8pm and 9pm respectively.
Overall, ITV1 came top during primetime with an average share of 22.5% to BBC One's 19.5%. BBC Two was third with 8%, followed by Channel 4 with 6.8% (+1: 0.7%) and Five's 3.8%.
