Chenoweth's 'Glee' return pulls in 1.7m

The latest episode of the musical comedy, in which Will called upon April to help him find a new rehearsal space for his New Directions, averaged 1.37m (5.3%) for E4 in the 9pm hour. A further 313k (1.7%) watched an hour later on timeshift.
Elsewhere last night, BBC Two's live snooker coverage averaged an impressive 2.53m (14.8%) between 8pm and 1am.
Joanna Lumley's Nile helped ITV1 win the 9pm hour with an average of 4.6m (18%). BBC One's Inspector George Gently averaged 3.46m (13.5%) between 8.30pm and 10pm.
The latest episode of FlashForward took 1.54m (6%) for Five, beating Channel 4's Blitz Street, which had 1.41m (5.5%).
Earlier, The Gadget Show brought in 1.4m (5.5%) to Five from 8pm, while Channel 4's Dispatches election special appealed to 670k (2.6%). Countrywise had a respectable 4.03m (16.2%) for ITV1 between 8pm and 8.30pm.
Overall, ITV1 averaged 22.6% in primetime to BBC One's 18.9%. BBC Two was third with 10.3%, followed by Channel 4 with 4.4% (+1: 0.5%) and Five with 4%.
