Published Tuesday, Oct 20 2009, 04:32 BST | By Dan French | 1 comment

Of the thousands of Tube Talk readers that voted, an overwhelming 79.6% declared that they loved the two-part episode. Meanwhile, 8.8% suggested that the psychiatric hospital-based premiere was a little odd and hope to see the old House back soon, while 3.3% reckoned they got bored and fell asleep!
Controversially, 8.3% of voters claimed they stopped watching House ages ago. WHAT?!?!
Episode three has since aired. What did you think? Are you glad House is back at Princeton Plainsboro? Add your comments to this entry below!

I've been a long-time House fan, but I'm starting to think the show is in trouble. S3 was routine, but S4 was a breath of fresh air. Then S5 didn't have any real sense of direction. I know we're only 3 eps in, and it's too early to say, but I'm already feeling that S6 is both routine and without direction - backed up by a report by the producers themselves saying 'we're making it up as we go along'. If Jennifer Morrisson does leave, it's going to be another blow (3 continuous years, 3 departures) and upset the fans already uncomfortable with the new castings. And it will probably mean Jesse Spencer leaving next year... And why, 2 years on, have they STILL not changed the opening credits?? It might sound daft, but it suggests they still don't know what they're doing. It pains me to say it, but things just aren't feeling as sharp as they used to. Unintentional not-meant-to-be-seen-as-scathing rant over ;)
