Exclusive chats with 'Vampire Diaries' cast

Next up in our series of Monte Carlo interviews, we chat to the cast of one of the season's biggest breakout hits: The Vampire Diaries.
VD fans around the world tweeted us questions for Paul Wesley (Stefan) and Nina Dobrev (Elena/Katherine) to ensure we were fully prepared when we sat down with the pair. Watch the interviews below to find out the answers - and see how Paul reacted when asked if he'd take a bite out of our neck.
Oh, and to put these videos in context, just beforehand we'd lost our iPhone and wanted some sympathy from the cast. They were very nice.

Hmm itīs really hard to say...being a vampire isīnt that easy either being chased by compass and being killed...Elena cares about her brother but at same time he suffers so much...but it could be over as he becames older byut at same time that might aswell nt..i think he should be a vampire who at time can control his emotions and shut them off...he would be hungry indeed but he has an inner power which still wil lnot make him become like Vicci....think he should have an inner stregth he didīnt belive he would have once he becames a vampire witch leaves him with questions and answer why he didīnt became a vampire earlier..at least if he knew about them sooner...it would be natural for him like he really was meant to be born as a vampire and not a human.

Interview was alright,wld have loved to see Damien.... for season 2,i wish Jeremy gets to be a vampire, Elena and Damien should fall in love or almost, Damien shldnt care about Cathrine anymre and Stefan shld go really bad, maybe Elena shld become a vampire too.

The interviews were good and interesting, but wish Ian had been interviewed too. His sense of humor is fantastic in interviews. Love the Vampire Diaries and hope that Season 2 has more of a Damon & Elena romance. Ian & Nina have such hot chemistry together on and off screen. Sorry Stefan, love you too, but Elena belongs with Damon.

I would love to see Damian and Elena get it on but not forever as she belongs to Stephen. I dont think I would like to see Jeremy become a vampire but to become more involved in his sisters life and not so many secrets between them. I think I would like to see more Bonnie and more witchy things happen, but keep up the action and defo more romance, I love it!!
