“ Tube Talk ”
Q&A: 'Betty', 'Medium', 'Housewives' found!

Any news on an air date for season 3 of Robin Hood?
Steve Rogers

Neil: The current plan is for Mr Hood and his merry men to burst back onto our screens in January, just after the conclusion of Merlin. More on the latter very soon, by the way....

I know that the second (and last) season of Jericho has been showing on Hallmark but can you tell me if ITV4 have retained second-run rights for the series?
Robert Coupee

Neil: Indeed it has. Expect to see the FINAL - yes, final: no arguments please - seven episodes in September/October.

Hi Neil!
Wondered if you could tell me if The Two Corys will air in the UK. Thanks!
PS - Im finding the new TT format harder to read.. can we go back to the old style (but with more frequent updates :o)
Leigh

Neil: Bizarrely, this show has been airing on The Biography Channel. It's on again next Monday, August 11 at 6pm. Sorry you're finding the new look harder to digest... I'll ask my monkeys to make some tweaks in time for the next edition.

Loving Tube Talk - it's like a cooler version of Points of View! Anyhow, do you know is Sky is planning to repeat Season 4 of Lost?
Jonnie

Neil: Points of View is the paragon of coolness, according to some in the DS office. Not sure if I measure up with Terry Wogan in certain areas, however. Lost season four repeats will be on the way, but in the meantime you can watch the climax to season three on Sky Two, weekday evenings.

I've heard loads about The Paper, a show on MTV, is there any word when its coming to the UK?
Faye

Neil: This real-life version of Press Gang - hands up who remembers Press Gang? - has just gone out on Fiver. Keep 'em peeled for the inevitable repeat at some point.

Is there a confirmed date for the return of the shoddily treated Desperate Housewives?
nick

Neil: Get this: both Housewives and Ugly Betty will be returning for their final few episodes next month.

Hey Neil, I was just wondering whether the BBC are intending on showing Season 4 of Medium or whether they have decided to pass on it and leave it to one of the channels on Sky to broadcast?
Michael

Neil: Don't worry, BBC One still has it. Season four was originally due to air in July, but then a "scheduling problem" meant that it has been shunted back to late August / early September.

So with Martha and Mickey walking off with Captain Jack in the Doctor Who finale can we safely assume now they are the two new Torchwood members, replacing Tosh and Owen?
Nick

Neil: We can't assume anything, if recent press reports are to be believed. Apparently an announcement on Captain Jack's new sidekicks is "imminent".

Hi Neil. You rock! But that's besides the point :) Do you know if Dexter Season 3 or second half of season 2 is in the works already? If so, when we are expecting to see it here in UK.
Cris

Neil: Thanks for the kind words Cris, dangerous as they are for my already oversized ego. Filming on Dexter season three began in May for a September premiere in the US. If it sticks to the regular pattern, that means it will air next July on FX here. Too long, right?

I have just bought series 1 - 3 of Gilmore Girls on DVD but I can't find any UK release dates for 4- 7, any ideas?
Sophie

Neil: When I solved the mystery of those final two seasons I fully expected that my Gilmore Girls torture (hundreds and hundreds of relentless, pleading emails over the last few years) would finally be over. But no. Now you want DVDs as well! Is it not enough that E4 has pledged to show the entire seven season run in its entirety?

Hey there, I watched season one of the US version Make Me A Supermodel and fell in love with it. It was an excellent show. Do you know if there is going to be a second US series and is there any other information you can tell me about it?
Joe

Neil: A second season has been confirmed for early next year. Hurrah! Meantime the first season continues to air here on Living, Mondays at 9pm.

Following your preview of the Heroes webisodes, where can we watch them? Normally NBC wont let us good people this side of the pond see good stuff like that.
Craig

Neil: The BBC is apparently "in discussions" about the three-part miniseries (which surely must total just five minutes in length). I'm sure they're out there to see if you look hard enough, though.

FX are already advertising Breaking Bad which I've heard good things about. Do we have a premiere date for it yet?
Ross

Neil: We do indeed. The PLP has your answer!

Points of View is brilliant. That's a compliment for Tube Talk :)
