'America's Got Talent' final boosts ITV2

America's Got Talent delivered a strong audience to ITV2 on Friday night, according to overnight data.

The 2009 finale was seen by 701k (3.3%) between 9pm and 11pm. However, Family Guy remained the most-watched multichannel show, with 778k (9.2%) at 11.50pm.

Elsewhere last night, Lisa's Celebrity MasterChef victory pulled in 5.79m (25.1%) for BBC One between 9pm and 10pm, while a Doc Martin repeat logged 3.37m (14.6%) at the same time.

Big Brother was third in the hour, with 2.95m (12.8%), returning at 10.30pm with 2.91m (19.2%). The reality show garnered respective timeshift audiences of 183k and 121k.

Meanwhile, BBC Two's Home Movie Roadshow interested 1.44m (6.2%), and a repeat of The Mentalist took 1.23m (5.3%) for Five.

Earlier, The One Show slipped to 3.87m (20.9%) at 7pm and at 8.30pm QI claimed 3.18m (14.2%).

Dickinson's Real Deal mustered 2.55m (11.8%) at 8pm, more than Mastermind which attracted 1.8m (8.3%). Gardeners' World followed the quizshow with 1.57m (7%).

Also at 8pm, A Place In The Sun: Home and Away averaged 1.28m (5.8%) for Channel 4, and Five's Police Interceptors managed 1.08m (4.9%).

Channel 4's Pete Versus Life beat BBC Two's Roger And Val Have Just Got In, with 1.71m (8.5%) to 1.09m (5.4%). Law & Order: SVU grabbed 1.07m (5.7%) for Five.

Overall, BBC One pipped ITV1 in primetime, with 22.6% to 20.2% [HD: 0.4%]. Channel 4 earned a respectable third with 8.6% [+1: 0.8%], BBC Two followed with 5.8%, and Five was last with 4.6%.
