'America's Next Top Model' judge fired
Published Wednesday, May 13 2009, 11:58 BST | By Lara Martin

The supermodel, who joined the CW show last year to replace departing panellist Twiggy, told The Late Late Show's Craig Ferguson that she was given the axe last month.
"Listen, do you know why I am in Los Angeles? Because I am looking for a job. I was fired by America's Next Top Model on my birthday," she said.
"The reason I was told I was fired was because, it seemed that America’s Next Top Model has gotten too fat and they needed to cut some fat and the fat was me. So I figured it was either that or my gigantic huge ego, which I wasn’t aware of until I was told by the producers that I have an ego problem."
When contacted by Access Hollywood, a representative for the contest declined to reveal whether Porizkova had been sacked, saying only that she is "no longer" with the programme.
