'Blink' secures trio of Hugo wins for 'Who'
Doctor Who has scooped a prestigious Hugo Award for the third year in a row, with 'Blink' winning Best Dramatic Presentation in the Short Form category.

The prize, handed out at World Con in Denver, also gave future showrunner Steven Moffat a hat-trick of wins for his stories. 'The Empty Child' and 'The Girl In The Fireplace' earned the same honour as 'Blink' at the 2006 and 2007 Hugo Awards.

'Blink' managed to fend off the challenge of Paul Cornell's 'Human Nature', adapted from his own novel, and the penultimate episode of Torchwood's first season - Catherine Tregenna's 'Captain Jack Harkness'.

In May 2008, 'Blink' was awarded a BAFTA Craft Award for its script.
