David Morrissey scared of Cybermen

David Morrissey has admitted that the Cybermen frightened him on the Doctor Who Christmas Special set.

"They were really amazingly scary," Morrissey told Doctor Who Magazine of his encounter with the metallic monsters while filming 'The Next Doctor'.

"I think it's to do with the storyline as well," he continued. "I mean, they are these Mafiosa-like characters who come in and take over. They threaten and kill and are really ruthless."

The State Of Play actor added that the Cybermen were "really characterful... rather than just these metal men. They were very threatening, and you suddenly see expressions in their faces that you just can't imagine from this inanimate object... they were very, very scary."
