'Doctor Who' filming unaffected by snow

Filming on the new series of Doctor Who is going ahead despite the heavy snow in Cardiff.

Matt Smith and Karen Gillan were spotted filming in Wales recently as the BBC prepares to release a new publicity image for series five.

The Sun quotes a show insider as saying: "Snow might stop mere humans but not The Doctor."

In recent days, filming on UK soaps Emmerdale, Coronation Street and Hollyoaks has been cancelled due to the snow, while production on EastEnders has been severely disrupted.
