Karen Gillan 'wants Simpsons role'

The Doctor Who star told reporters at a recent signing that she would love to appear on the series.
"That would be really cool," she said. "That's almost on a par with being a doll because being a Simpsons character, all yellow and stuff, would be really cool."
However, the actress denied that she had been approached by the show's producers.
"I haven't [been asked]," she confirmed. "Maybe someone has. I don't know anything about it."
It was previously reported that Doctor Who fans were keen for the show's characters to feature in an episode of The Simpsons.
