Writers' Guild announces TV nominees

The winners in the annual event are voted for by fellow writers.
Doctor Who, Ashes To Ashes and Being Human will fight it out for the title of 'Best Television Drama Series'.
Meanwhile, the shortlist for 'Best Television Comedy/Light Entertainment' recognised The Thick Of It, Peep Show and Getting On.
Small Island, Occupation and Five Daughters picked up nominations for 'Best Television Short-Form Drama', while Casualty, Coronation Street and Holby City were shortlisted for 'Best Television Continuing Drama'.
Elsewhere, Shaun The Sheep, Horrible Histories and Tracy Beaker Returns picked up nods in the children's television category.
The winners will be announced in a ceremony on November 21.
