Speaking at the launch of the third run of Sky1's A League Of Their Own, the actor confirmed that he would be reprising the role of Craig Owens that he first played in last year's 'The Lodger'.
"I can't wait to go back," Corden said. "I go straight from here to Cardiff and start Thursday morning. I can't wait, I love it.
"I'm amazed and over the moon that Steven [Moffat] wrote it back. They ran a poll and it did really well last series, so yeah!"
Asked if his character would enter the Tardis, which he did not do on his previous appearance, he added: "I can't possibly tell you."
Corden also confirmed that his character would be returning for just one episode.
Talking about the show, Corden's A League Of Their Own co-star Jamie Redknapp exclaimed: "That is not a kids' show, is it? That's scary that show!"
